Code execution via unchecked ActiveX buffer copies

Stack-based buffer overflows in WebGate eDVR Manager allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through crafted ActiveX input. Multiple WESP ActiveX controls copy arbitrary method arguments or property data into fixed-size stack or heap buffers without checking input length. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file, and the resulting code runs in the browser's context.
