Stored XSS via unsanitized file upload
Published Mar 15, 2026 · Updated May 24, 2026
Stored XSS in Next Click Ventures RealtyScript 4.0.2 allows attackers to execute JavaScript in other users' browsers via a file upload. The file handler in admin/tools.php stores the multipart file parameter without neutralizing embedded HTML and script content, which is later rendered in the affected site context. Exploitation requires a low-privileged authenticated session and another user to access the uploaded content, exposing that user's site-context data and actions.
