Cleartext storage in IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition before the July 2015 service levels allows local users to read sensitive data from memory dumps. The Java Security Components retain plaintext sensitive information in process memory, causing generated dump files to preserve that information without protection. Exploitation requires local file access to an affected JVM's memory dump and exposes only data present in that dump; no data modification or service interruption is reported.
