Arbitrary XML file disclosure via XPath XXE

XXE in Jenkins before 1.600 and LTS before 1.596.1 allows remote attackers with read access to read arbitrary XML files via XPath. The XPath handling resolves external entity references in attacker-controlled queries and retrieves the referenced XML document from the controller. The endpoint requires Jenkins read access; installations granting that permission expose sensitive XML content from inside or outside Jenkins.
