Management interception via shared SSH and SSL keys
Published Apr 3, 2026 · Updated Apr 3, 2026
Hard-coded keys in Belden Hirschmann HiLCOS devices allow remote attackers to intercept SSH and HTTPS management traffic. Factory images ship identical SSH host key pairs and SSL private keys, so different devices can present the same cryptographic identity. Reachability requires an interception position and a device without individual keys or a certificate, enabling impersonation and sensitive-data disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
