Database data disclosure via unescaped id parameter
Published Oct 29, 2025 · Updated Oct 29, 2025
SQL injection in Thumbnail Slider With Lightbox 1.0.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The plugin inserts the user-supplied id parameter into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or prepared-query parameterization. Administrator-level access is required, and successful exploitation appends SQL statements that extract sensitive information without a reported write impact.
