Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted file upload
Published Jul 19, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Work The Flow File Upload 2.5.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute PHP code via an upload request. The bundled jQuery File Upload PHP handler accepts unauthenticated multipart files without validating their extensions or types and stores them in a web-accessible directory. No account is required; requesting the predictable URL of an uploaded PHP file executes it in the web server process.
