Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted ajaxUpload
Published Jul 19, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Eoxia WPshop before 1.3.9.6 allows remote attackers to execute PHP code through includes/ajax.php. The ajaxUpload action accepts the wpshop_file multipart field without validating its file type and stores the supplied name under web-accessible uploads. Unauthenticated access to the public endpoint is sufficient; uploaded PHP runs with the privileges of the WordPress site.
