Browser script execution via unescaped request parameters
Published Dec 26, 2023 · Updated Nov 21, 2024
Reflected XSS in BestWebSoft Captcha Plus 2.0.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject browser scripts through crafted requests. Multiple request parameters are copied into generated JavaScript and plugin settings without adequate sanitization or output escaping. Execution requires an attacker to persuade a user to open a crafted link; the script runs in that user’s browser context.
