Reflected XSS via unescaped add_query_arg URLs
Published May 31, 2023 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Reflected XSS in Simplr Registration Form Plus+ 2.3.0 through 2.3.4 allows remote attackers to inject scripts through a crafted URL. The simplr_views_users link and add-field form action place request-derived URLs from add_query_arg into HTML without URL escaping. Execution requires an unauthenticated attacker to persuade a user to open the crafted URL, after which the victim's browser runs the injected script in the site's origin.
