Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized query parameters
Published May 28, 2023 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
SQL injection in mback2k http:BL Blocking 1.1.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL queries. The moduleContent function concatenates block_ip into a WHERE clause and unchecked sort and order values into ORDER BY clauses passed to exec_SELECTquery. A valid TYPO3 backend login with permission to access the extension module is required, after which database data can be read or modified.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
