Cross-site scripting in WalrusIRC 0.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through crafted chat content. The public/parser.js parseLinks function embeds matched URLs in HTML href and image attributes without excluding quotation marks, allowing input to terminate an attribute and introduce executable markup. Exploitation requires low-privileged access to submit content and user interaction to render it, with impact limited to browser-side content integrity.
