Database compromise via incorrect preview input escaping
Published Feb 10, 2023 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
SQL injection in Webbuilders Group SilverStripe Kapost Bridge 0.3.3 allows remote attackers to read or alter data through preview inputs. KapostService.php applies XML escaping instead of SQL escaping to request-derived values before using them in Code and KapostRefID database filters. The preview and getPreview paths require no authenticated session, and injected SQL can compromise data handled by the site's database.
