CVE-2015-10056

SQL injection via concatenated search parameter

Published Jan 16, 2023 · Updated Apr 7, 2025

SQL injection in the Vinylmaps search view allows attackers to manipulate record queries through a crafted q parameter. The search function concatenates request.GET['q'] into four LIKE clauses in a raw SQL statement instead of passing the value as a bound parameter. The endpoint takes the value from an HTTP GET request; public records do not establish whether authentication is required or which database actions are possible.
