CVE-2015-10038

Authenticated SQL injection via unescaped form parameters

Published Jan 11, 2023 · Updated Apr 9, 2025

SQL injection in nym3r0s pplv2 allows remote authenticated users to execute database queries through crafted form parameters. Multiple PHP handlers pass POST and session values without escaping; the patch applies mysql_real_escape_string before those values reach queries. The published CVE identifies a nym3r0s PHP application, not Kontron PiXtend Python Library V2, so the supplied catalog association is unsupported.
