Database record disclosure and modification via concatenated queries
Published Jan 11, 2023 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
SQL injection in ACI_Escola allows remote authenticated users on an adjacent network to read or alter school database records. The affected DAO methods concatenate user-supplied search and record fields directly into SQL statements instead of using parameterized queries. Access requires low-privileged application credentials and network adjacency; successful injection exposes or modifies records and can interrupt database operations.
