API invocation via MITM-injected WebView scripts

Script injection in LINE for Android 5.0.2 and earlier and LINE for iOS 5.0.0 and earlier allows man-in-the-middle attackers to invoke APIs. The in-app WebView accepts unencrypted HTTP content, allowing intercepted responses to supply JavaScript that calls exposed application functions. Exploitation requires connection to attacker-controlled Wi-Fi and interaction with an in-app page or link; resulting calls can read or alter chats, contacts, and related LINE data.
