Application crash via attacker-controlled stack allocation

Memory corruption in VideoLAN VLC media player 2.1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to crash VLC via a crafted Ogg file. The rtp_packetize_xiph_config function sizes a variable-length stack buffer from an attacker-controlled Ogg Vorbis configuration string, then copies the string into that buffer. A user must explicitly open the crafted file or stream; successful triggering causes invalid memory access and an application crash, while further impact is unspecified for this flaw.
