Unauthenticated SQL execution via server parameter
Published Feb 19, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
SQL injection in Netsweeper before 3.1.10, 4.0.x before 4.0.9, and 4.1.x before 4.1.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL. The remotereporter/load_logfiles.php endpoint passes the unauthenticated GET server parameter into an SQL command without neutralizing injected SQL syntax. Any unauthenticated user who can reach the page can alter database query logic, with access bounded by the application's database privileges.
