Authenticated browser script execution via unencoded form values
Published Jun 1, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Piwigo Lexiglot through 2014-11-20 allows remote authenticated users to run script via crafted form values. The username is reflected into a response, while admin.php?page=config stores install_name, intro_message, and new_file_content for later rendering without effective output neutralization. Exploitation requires authenticated access and user interaction, and the reported impact is confined to browser-context disclosure or modification rather than service interruption.
