Administrator session theft via reflected status parameter
Published Feb 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Reflected XSS in PHP-Fusion 7.02.07 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator’s browser through a crafted request. The administration/members.php page reflects the status query parameter into its HTML response without neutralizing executable markup. The attacker must induce an authenticated administrator to open the crafted URL; successful execution can expose that administrator’s session.
