Arbitrary file disclosure via unrestricted servlet operations
Published Feb 8, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Access-control failure in ManageEngine Applications Manager, OpManager, and IT360 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files. FailOverHelperServlet accepts unauthenticated copyfile requests with attacker-controlled fileName paths and listdirectory requests with attacker-controlled rootDirectory values. No authentication is required in affected products; successful requests disclose file contents or recursively enumerate directories without changing server data.
