Unauthenticated command execution via ant cookie eval
Published Jun 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Command injection in ActualScripts ActualAnalyzer 2.81 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary operating-system commands. The aa.php endpoint passes the attacker-controlled ant cookie, including shell metacharacters, into an eval operation without neutralizing it. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs commands with the web-service process's privileges.
