Administrative service interruption via crafted Range headers

Denial of service in affected TripodWorks GIGAPOD file servers allows remote attackers to interrupt the administrative web interface. The Apache HTTP Server on port 8001 expands overlapping Range or Request-Range values into numerous in-memory fetches, consuming excessive memory and CPU time. No authentication is required; affected releases include GIGAPOD 3.01.02 and earlier and GIGAPOD OFFICEHARD 3.04.03 and earlier.
