Credential disclosure in Ansible before 1.5.5 allows local users to read repository credentials from generated sources.list files. The apt_repository module creates each sources list file with mode 0644, exposing embedded HTTP user-and-password fields to every local account. Exploitation requires local access and a repository URL containing credentials; the consequence is read-only disclosure of those credentials.
