Two-factor authentication bypass in BSS BS-Client Private Client 2.4 and 2.5 allows remote attackers to access privileged functions via XML. The XML request handler makes its authorization decision without using the ADPswID and AD parameters that carry second-factor state. No prior authentication or user interaction is required; a successful request reaches functions intended to require two-factor authentication.
