Script execution via unneutralized colorstyle parameter
Published Jan 3, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Bank Soft Systems RBS BS-Client 3.17.9 allows remote attackers to execute script via the colorstyle parameter. The bsi.dll CGI handler processes the untrusted value without neutralizing web script or HTML before rendering it in a page. A user must open the crafted request; the script then runs in the site's browser context and can read or alter session-accessible data.
