CVE-2014-3590Network attack vector

Forced logout via missing CSRF token validation

Published Jan 2, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in Foreman shipped with Red Hat Satellite 6 allows remote attackers to terminate a user’s active session. The logout action accepts requests without validating the correct CSRF token, so crafted content such as a redirect invokes session termination. The attack requires an authenticated user to view the content and causes only loss of that active session, with no reported data access or modification.
