File disclosure and service interruption via XXE
Published Feb 11, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
XXE injection in bundled Zend Framework in ownCloud Server before 5.0.15 and 6.0.x before 6.0.2 allows remote attackers to read files. The bundled Zend Framework XML processing accepts and resolves external entity references from attacker-controlled XML; public records do not name the class or method. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful requests expose server-readable files or exhaust resources and interrupt service.
