CVE-2014-125125Public exploitNetwork attack vector

File disclosure and deletion via traversal

Published Jul 31, 2025 · Updated May 15, 2026

Path traversal in A10 Networks AX Loadbalancer 2.6.1-GR1-P5, 2.7.0, and earlier allows remote attackers to read and delete files. The /xml/downloads handler accepts filename values containing parent-directory sequences and retrieves files outside /a10data/tmp, deleting each file after download. Unauthenticated network access to the endpoint is sufficient to obtain sensitive appliance files, including certificate keys, while removing the retrieved originals.
