Unauthenticated command execution via Anyterm parameter
Published Jul 31, 2025 · Updated May 15, 2026
OS command injection in Pandora FMS 5.0RC1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute commands through the Anyterm web interface. The /anyterm-module endpoint places the unsanitized p parameter directly into a shell command, which runs with pandora-user privileges. No authentication is required; versions 4.1 and 5.0RC1 also permit escalation through the passwordless artica account to root.
