Root command execution via login-name SQL injection
Published Jul 31, 2025 · Updated May 15, 2026
SQL injection in LXCenter Kloxo before 6.1.12 allows remote attackers to obtain administrator credentials and execute root commands. The login-name parameter in lbin/webcommand.php enters a UNION query without proper sanitization, exposing the stored administrator password. No authentication or user interaction is required for database extraction; the recovered credentials unlock display.php's Command Center, which runs operating system commands as root.
