CVE-2014-125114Public exploit

Code execution via oversized schedule time value

Published Jul 25, 2025 · Updated Apr 7, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in MemeCode FileTeePee 2.20 allows context-dependent attackers to execute code through a crafted Schedule.xml file. The scheduled-download parser fails to bound the Event Time attribute before storing it in a stack buffer, allowing data beyond roughly 600 bytes to overwrite the SEH chain. Exploitation requires placement of the file in the application directory and active user interaction to start the client; success executes code in that user's context or crashes the process.
