Unrestricted file upload in Quest KACE Systems Management Appliance allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code without authentication. The download_agent.php endpoint accepts arbitrary PHP files into a web-accessible temporary directory, and backend code includes an attacker-controlled path to execute the uploaded file. Network access alone reaches affected 5.0 through 5.3, 5.4 before 5.4.76849, and 5.5 before 5.5.90547 appliances, with code initially running as the www user.
