Database record modification via unvalidated lu parameter
Published Mar 4, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
SQL injection in CodePeople Polls CP 1.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate poll-vote data through a crafted lu parameter. The cp-admin-int-message-list.inc.php handler appends lu directly to the WHERE id clause of an UPDATE query instead of converting it to an integer. Exploitation requires high-privileged WordPress access and can alter message records or use database-evaluated expressions to expose data.
