Account impersonation via unescaped DQL inputs
Published Jan 19, 2023 · Updated Oct 15, 2024
SQL injection in Anant Labs Documentum connector 3.2.0 through 3.2.3 allows remote authenticated users to alter DQL queries. The DctmAuthenticationManager.getUserName method concatenates userLoginName and domainName into a dm_user query without escaping SQL literals or LIKE metacharacters. Adjacent-network access and low-privileged credentials are required; crafted values can make the lookup resolve as another Documentum user.
