SQL injection via unescaped job filters
Published Jan 17, 2023 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
SQL injection in Nivit Redports of unknown version allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through job filters. The model.py filter builder directly interpolates queue ID and owner strings into quoted SQL fragments and inserts revision into a query without parameterization. Reachability requires an authenticated user able to submit job-filter values; successful injection can read or modify data or disrupt database-backed operations.
