Cross-site scripting via unescaped unordered list values
Published Jan 8, 2023 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Cross-site scripting in yanheven console allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The AvailabilityZonesTable passes host values from get_zone_hosts to Django's unordered_list filter without enabling autoescaping, so markup is emitted into the table. An authenticated user must place crafted host data where an administrator will view the affected dashboard, enabling actions in that administrator's browser context.
