CVE-2014-125069Network attack vector

Authenticated file disclosure via unresolved request paths

Published Jan 8, 2023 · Updated Aug 6, 2024

Path traversal in saxman maps-js-icoads allows remote authenticated users to read server files via crafted HTTP request paths. The HTTP request handler prepends a dot to the URL path and passes the result to filesystem calls without resolving it or rejecting locations outside the server root. Network access and valid service privileges are required, and successful traversal exposes only files readable by the server process.
