CVE-2014-125061

SQL injection via interpolated transfer fields

Published Jan 7, 2023 · Updated Aug 6, 2024

SQL injection in peel filebroker allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data through crafted transfer fields. In lib/common.rb, transfer identifiers, filenames, status values, paths, and timestamps are interpolated directly into SQL passed to @db.exec; the patch replaces several expressions with typed positional parameters. Exploitation requires low-privileged access from an adjacent network; the public evidence does not establish operating-system command execution.
