SQL injection via unchecked search field name
Published Jan 6, 2023 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
SQL injection in HimikLab yii2-jqgrid-widget 1.0.0 through 1.0.7 allows remote attackers to alter generated database queries. JqGridAction.php passes each unvalidated search-rule field to Yii query conditions as a column name; the patch rejects fields absent from the model. Exploitation requires a host application to expose the grid action and route attacker-controlled search rules to the affected method.
