Network amplification in DebOps NTP allows remote authenticated users to increase NTP response traffic through hosts on the local network. The meta/main.yml dependency sets accept_any for the NTP service and applies no connection-rate limit, permitting disproportionate replies. Exploitation requires low privileges and access from an adjacent permitted network; abuse consumes network capacity and reduces availability.
