Script injection via unescaped search parameters
Published Dec 31, 2022 · Updated Apr 11, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Yuna Scatari TBDev 2.1.17 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script through usersearch.php. The get_user_icons search form writes multiple GET parameters directly into HTML input value attributes without contextual encoding or numeric coercion. Exploitation requires access to the user-search interface and another user to render the crafted response, allowing attacker-controlled script to alter content in that user's browser.
