CVE-2013-7051Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Privileged command execution via source-IP authentication

Published Feb 4, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024

Authentication bypass in D-Link DIR-100 firmware 4.03B07 allows remote attackers to execute privileged commands through cli.cgi. The CGI handler treats the administrator's source IP address as the only access check after any user at that address logs in, without validating cookies or other authentication parameters. An attacker must reach the web interface from the same IP address as an active administrator session; successful requests can alter router configuration and fully compromise the device.
