Absolute-URL poisoning via untrusted Host header

Symfony HttpFoundation allows remote attackers to inject content into generated absolute URLs by supplying a crafted HTTP Host header. Request::getHost() trusts $_SERVER['HOST'], so downstream URL generation incorporates the request-controlled hostname without validating it against an application allowlist. Exploitation requires a server or reverse-proxy configuration that forwards an attacker-selected Host value and an application flow that emits an absolute URL, such as a password-reset link; the poisoned link can direct a victim to attacker-controlled content.
