Authenticated SQL injection via manipulated URLs
Published Aug 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
SQL injection in OTRS Help Desk allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands through manipulated URLs. The vendor names five Perl modules in custom queue preferences, customer-company handling, database indexing, and ticket search, but does not disclose which URL parameters reach unneutralized SQL construction. A valid agent login is required; affected releases are 3.0.0 through 3.0.21, 3.1.0 through 3.1.17, and 3.2.0 through 3.2.8, and successful injection permits database reads or writes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
