Denial-of-service vulnerability in Avira AntiVir Engine before 8.2.12.58 allows remote attackers to interrupt scanning via a crafted PDF. The PDF Scanner Engine enters an infinite loop when processing specially crafted PDF input through an unspecified function. Any deployment that scans attacker-supplied PDFs can experience a scanner service hang and loss of scanning availability; no confidentiality or integrity impact is reported.
