Code execution via unchecked levels header arithmetic

Heap-based buffer overflow in IrfanView MR-SID PlugIn before 4.37 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted SID file. MrSID.dll fails to validate the levels header before an integer calculation, producing an undersized heap allocation that subsequent decoding overwrites. Execution requires a user to open the malicious image in IrfanView, and the resulting code runs in that user's application context.
