CVE-2013-3935Network attack vector

Administrator account takeover via password-change CSRF

Published Jan 2, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024

CSRF in Opsview before 4.4.1 and Opsview Core before 20130522 allows remote attackers to change an administrator password. The public record identifies the password-change request as the locus but does not disclose its endpoint or missing request validation. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to interact with attacker-controlled content, after which the attacker can seize that account.
