Authenticated SQL injection via editProfile id parameter
Published Jan 2, 2020 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
SQL injection in Jomres before 7.3.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through the Joomla administrator interface. The editProfile action accepts a crafted id parameter at administrator/index.php and incorporates it into an SQL command without adequate neutralization. Business Manager permission is required, and successful exploitation permits database reads, writes, or deletion within the application's database privileges.
